Winston entered his room and there was an instrument called a telescreen that could not be closed or muted. Winston stood in front of the window and looked at the poster that said INGSOC. There was also a helicopter that flew between buildings and monitored people's behavior. However, this wasn't a big problem for Winston, the real problem was the thought police. The telescreen behind him was still talking about the ninth three-year plan. This instrument could receive and transmit at the same time, and also capture every little sound Winston made. Not only him, but everyone was being monitored by this telescreen. This was where he lived, the capital of Aristrip One, London and the third most populous city in Oceania. He began to question him about the state of this place in the 19th century and tried to remember his youth, but he couldn't. Then he looked at the Ministry of Truth, the Minitrue in Newspeak. This gigantic building was shaped like a pyramid and three party slogans were written on its white concrete wall. “WAR IS PEACE, FREEDOM IS SLAVERY, IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.” » The Minitrue was known for its enormous capacity of 3,000 parts on the ground and 3,000 parts underground.
