Strategic planning is crucial to the success of all businesses. Analyzing current trends in technology, consumer markets, competition, and workforce can play a crucial role in whether or not the organization survives. Over time, strategic planning strategies must be modified to compensate for changes in the industry. Goals and strategic planning often require changes to ensure the organization is operating at peak performance, while providing the most beneficial and quality services to consumers.Case StudyThe Community South Medical Center, a large purpose-built urban health center lucrative, is equipped to address many global health care issues. Although the medical center has an excellent reputation, the analysis showed that it now lacks clinical staff, no-interface technology, outdated infrastructure, reduced JCAHO compliance, and fluctuating demographics. Additionally, many well-paying local businesses have left the area. This could be due to competition issues or because of changing demographics they no longer had the consumer advantage for the services they offered. If Community South Medical Center does not want to follow suit with other local businesses, they need to revise the strategic plan. that they put in place three years ago to implement strategic performance. According to Edmunds (2006), “The goal of a strategic plan is to find ways for you to capture an increasing share of your market.
