Information technology (IT) involves the application of computers and other telecommunications devices to store, transmit, and manipulate data into meaningful information. The industry is known for being deeply dependent on computers to fulfill all its roles. In business, the term IT refers to the use of computer information systems. It involves software development and installation in technology planning and management of organizations. Software and hardware are frequently maintained and upgraded to keep up with increasing technological advancements, which are more reliable and efficient (Atlantic 34). ACI will reduce the time needed to remove and modify applications to minutes for maximum efficiency. Building the Nexus 9000 switch will enable a network transition from NX-OS to ACI mode, which has upgraded software and an additional control switch.
