I think the best way to project an impartial attitude when dealing with such a patient is to handle the situation as I would someone from a different cultural background. Being allowed to have different views than another person is what makes us unique and we shouldn't be torn apart because we are different. Just as I do not want to be judged for my values ​​and opinions, I will not judge others for their same rights. Understanding this is essential to allow a relationship of trust and respect to develop between a provider and patient; especially if they have different ideologies or values. I am proud to live in a diverse nation where we have the right to be different and have different ideologies, we should celebrate our uniqueness and not destroy it.
