Essay / Why I Believe in God - 1672
Why I Believe in GodFor my adult Catholic trying to live the life of Christ, it is helpful to recall the reasons to believe. It is helpful to review why we know God exists. Is there a God? Is there a God above and beyond all of us? Above our life and our death, above our joys and our sorrows, above our global and space program? For thoughtful people, this is really the important question. Is there a God? We have everything for human transportation. Nothing is missing. In the biblical sense, everything is God. Do you believe that God is God? Given the incredible design of this human body, the believer is the logical person. It's the agnostics or atheists who have problems. He cannot understand, cannot explain and cannot go any further to find out what it is. For this whole conception to come true, chance is akin to a foolish monkey hitting a monkey randomly hitting the keys on a typewriter and accidentally typing the entire Encyclopedia Britannica. These first words of the Creed are "I believe in God", in modern times. you can and should say it, mean it and not apologize for it. And if you believe in God, you can take other steps to build your house of religious faith on a solid foundation..
