Christianity is a faith based on the life, teachings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Fisher, 1991) Christianity is a religion of one God as presented in the New Testament. Today, Christianity and the Church are culturally diverse, even racially. It is even said that Sunday morning is the most segregated time in the world. There is a central belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; all Christians can come to this conclusion. Christianity teaches that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and that we are all under God's judgment because we have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Other religions may often describe that you only need to do good things for God to be able to go to heaven. However, Christianity is the only religion that supports the teachings of salvation by grace. This means that our efforts, sincerity and good works alone will not guarantee us a place in heaven, but rather our faith in what Christ did on the cross, our obedience to the Gospel and our faithful life until his return which will place us there. .
