“Management does things right; leadership is doing the right things” (Peter F. Drucker). This is a famous quote about leadership that myself and one of my interviewees agree on. I chose to interview two leaders about their leadership roles and their views on gender in the workplace. The two people I chose to interview are very genuine people who have been leaders in their work for years. The first is David Lanzon. He currently owns several small local businesses around Metro Detroit and the Maumee Ohio area, managing hundreds of employees. I have known him since I worked at a particular place that he owns. He has been involved in business all his life, since his teenage years, and has therefore excelled immensely. The second person interviewed is Virginia Milliken. She started and helped her husband, Pat, run a car dealership in Redford, Michigan, for over 50 years. Virginia's husband, Pat Milliken, is my mother's uncle.
