Impact of ICT in my local communityIntroduction.My name is Pius Wireko-Gyami and I am 15 years old. I am from Ghana and I am part of a family of six. I am the second born to my parents and the first of two boys in our family. I come from a Christian family and live in a Christian neighborhood. I live in the village of Britannia, near the docks, west of Silver Town. It is near Canning Town in east London. The buses that come to my area are: 474 and 69. I live in the Newham area. I live in a suburb in east London and have a nice neighborhood with lots of lovely people. People in my area have a lot of access to ICT, some of which are internet facilities, traffic lights, etc. They have all these things to enable the people of the area to live a comfortable life. Five years ago our area had known traffic lights and so there were many accidents and even traffic jams which actually disturbed everyone in our area. The number of Internet uses in my area is very large. Almost every household has a computer for browsing the Internet. This also helps the neighborhood calm down since everyone would stay home and stay in front of their computers rather than going out and making noise disturbing the peace of others. Survey method. I went to the regional secretary of our district during an interview that I had organized with him. The name of the secretary in my area is LloydBanks. He is the head of a family with two children.
