During my time at school, I found various subjects difficult to learn. Until one day I tried to learn a subject with a creative approach and I was surprised to see that it worked. This course was great for me because I was able to use my creative sense to complete tasks like I was able to do in sixth grade when I studied art and computer science. This course relates to my personality and influences, as I can creatively respond to a brief and produce videos that convey ideas and perspectives. The IT course helped me develop an understanding of digital imaging software during which I was able to follow briefs and thus produce high quality work. Business has helped me develop my employability skills, from teamwork to problem solving. My art course allowed me to be creative and produce final pieces that reference a given specification. The skills I learned during my studies are essential for graphic design. My innovative approach to responding to briefs, my experience with Adobe Creative software in producing visually exciting pieces and my employability skills in presenting ideas and working with others. Using my personality and skills, I have helped various clients with their promotional materials. I produced adverts for events in Madeley and helped promote a regeneration project for The Clifton (a community arts center in Telford). I have participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities and have organized and directed events.
