    For this week's article, I will focus on the Boston connection and its relationship to the Zoopolis theory. I consulted three resources for this article; last Wednesday's lecture on Zoopolis, a blog entitled "Zoopolis...A Step Beyond New Urbanism" by Mike Ciampa and an article from Boston Population in 2014. According to the lecture given by our teaching assistant Will, Zoopolis is about animals and the city . Mike Ciampa’s blog “Zoopolis…A Step Beyond New Urbanism” defines Zoopolis as “a living utopia in which our local species and habitats are integrated into our urban environment.” Zoopolis is linked to Boston because the urbanization of Boston affects non-human animals as well as non-human animals affecting the urbanization process and urban form. Socio-spatial conflicts are an example of the relationship between Zoopolis and Boston.
