  • Essay / Teen Responsibility Essay - 936

Some teens learn teamwork in school, such as completing projects and writing group papers, but this is more defined when the teen gets a job. While working at a fast food restaurant, the teens work as a team to cook. and making sure the entire order is correct. The teenager will learn what he must do as an individual to succeed as a team. Unless they are their own boss, the teen will most likely have co-workers with whom they will need to communicate in order to complete tasks effectively. They will also have the consequence of losing their job; their only source of income and will be forced to settle for shift work or remain unemployed. This may apply to other careers such as construction worker. Workers must ensure that each of them is doing their job correctly. If they don't, they risk falling behind or having an accident, which in both directions will put them behind schedule and ultimately; lose the job. They need to communicate effectively with each other, which is another skill that aligns with teamwork. Being able to communicate with other people is important because without this skill, people would not know how to resolve conflicts with others and work would not get done as it should.
