    Throughout history and even today, women are considered unimportant. They are movable property or servants, a person without rights. In some current cases, women find it difficult to show that they have rights and that they can make a contribution to society if given the opportunity. In Scripture, it is clear that God's intention was equality “…And the man said, This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh! She should be called Woman. (Gen.2:23) The woman and the man were given body, spirit and soul. Each had a personality and was capable of exercising dominance. (Gen 1:28-29) (Genderstanding Jesus) Luke uses a technique of matching references to men and women, "this association, it has been suggested, indicates a substantial number of women constituting the audience of the Gospel. » (Kopas)In today's society, women are in governments, they own businesses, they hold leadership positions in companies, but are they really considered equal to their male counterparts, receive- them the same type of respect and recognition for their achievements. This article seeks to examine the relationship between Jesus and the women he encountered as well as those he used as examples to reveal the principles by which women should be treated. The Bible contains countless examples of women who crossed societal boundaries to be closer to Jesus. Sometimes he would meet them halfway, other times he would set up scenarios to make a statement or teach a lesson. He cited them as examples of how he expects us to live and love. “A poor widow came and put in two small coins…” (Mark 12:42-44) Jesus uses the example set by the widow’s offering as a gesture of giving everything she had.
