An adolescent's neighborhood and community can affect their well-being and childhood development. In this essay, community will be defined as a place where individuals have common interests, common societal status, common income and common mentalities. Authors such as Malcolm Gladwell and others mention the importance of community and the effect of miners and their growth. Many factors contribute to a community's opinion, and a person's perception of an individual may be due to the geographic residence of adolescents. The harshness of the community has a negative connotation for development and prevents the child from growing properly and progressing adequately. The community and its effects are important to know what is happening and its functions.
