Certain characteristics can only be seen in a participatory community. Members of these communities are in better social and mental health. 1) First, in a participating community, several people are involved in community activities such as beach cleaning programs, sports activities and dengue control activities. 2) Second, in a participating community, people from all groups become involved and distribute responsibilities/activities so that people with particular talents and interests participate in the activities. They would have distributed power and responsibilities equally. 3) In a participating community, they conduct their activities or programs openly rather than keeping them private. 4) In a participating community, every idea or opinion is welcomed and treated with respect. . They do not consider any opinion to be a bad idea.5) In a participating community, there is no discrimination between different groups. They treat everyone equally, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity. 6) People in a participatory community behave more openly and live more openly
