INTRODUCTIONMaterial requirements planning (MRP) is one of the integral production control techniques used in enterprise resource planning (ERP). It calculates net material requirements based on its dependence on other materials and develops procurement proposals which are often in the form of purchase requisitions and planned orders. MRP creates planned orders for all finished and semi-finished products and aims to ensure that the company has sufficient availability of material to meet its needs. In an ERP, Master Data is a key factor in the successful implementation of the production process. It automatically sorts and stores data, based on its distinctive functions and characteristics. Material master data is the most commonly used type of master data in business organizations. It contains all the essential information necessary for the management of materials, the production of these materials, as well as their delivery information. Material master data includes certain key elements that allow it to function effectively. They include purchasing group, MRP controller, basic unit of measurement, batch size, supply type, etc.PRODUCT PROFILE Ltd is a manufacturing company involved in the production of aluminum alloy components. aluminum which it uses to produce various household equipment, such as windows, doors. , cabinets, etc. In this production process, DR Ltd will produce aluminum DOOR-DR for its customers, depending on their demand level. In MRP, the first task is usually to determine which materials need to be planned. To produce the aluminum door, we will use materials such as aluminum alloy, glass, frames, door handles, hinges, screws, etc. Aluminum alloy is our raw material, which contains paper. .....using the scheduling times in the item record. The MRP items column displays the planned order (PlOrd) and independent requirements (IndReq)) for our finished product. MRP EXECUTION RESULTS FOR SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCT Figure 8. In the above screenshot, DepReq means dependent requirement. Which indicates that our glass product is based on the requirement of other material. RESULTS OF MRP EXECUTION FOR RAW MATERIALS Figure 9. MRP execution for different types of materials, as shown in Figures 6 to 9, calculates the actual production time (from the time the order is placed until 'upon completion) to the actual delivery time. By doing so, the company is able to identify whether or not it has enough materials and whether it will be able to complete production as planned. The figure below is the spreadsheet for our multi-level single item planning approach.Figure 10.
