“Too often, we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, an attentive ear, a honest compliment or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to be life-changing. Said Leo Buscaglia; professor of special education at the University of Southern California. Every teacher has this potential, whether they realize it or not. I was a teacher for nine years in the field of early childhood education and during those nine years, I realized the importance of the smallest act of care that can change a person's life. person or even just make their day a little better. Being a preschool teacher has brought me great pleasure in life, simply by brightening a child's day and knowing that I am making a difference in their life. Throughout my journey as a teacher, I have thought about how I can advance in my career field while remaining active with children on a daily basis and continuing to make a difference in each child's life as well as that of his parents. After much thought and research, I came to the conclusion and gained an interest in becoming a preschool and daycare director. Through extensive research, I learned a lot about the career field I chose to pursue. A preschool principal provides leadership and assistance to teachers and staff, as well as educational and non-academic activities for the school's programs. Depending on whether the school you choose to work for is public or private depends on the requirements to be eligible for the position of principal. Public schools generally don't expect a diploma, but some want a master's degree, while private schools look for a bachelor's or master's degree.
