How important is a Christian worldview? The biblical worldview is essentially the integration of foundational biblical teachings to become a meaningful and unified response to the daily opportunities and challenges of modern life. An individual wholly committed to a biblical worldview projects a belief system that the primary purpose of existence is to love and serve the Lord God alone. Essentially, a Christian worldview is formed with reference to the living and infallible Word of God (Tackett, 2014). Once a believer fully believes the living Word of God, it allows him to form the basis for everything in his life. This implies, for example, that when a believer chooses to follow Romans 13 to respect those in authority, then he or she should be given priority in voting and electing new leaders to power. A Bible-believing person should live a life that reflects biblical teachings and truths. As practical Christians, our knee-jerk reaction should be limited to established biblical truths (Wayne, 2014). If, as believers, we do not fully trust God's Word and shape our lives under its direction, our testimony will become misleading and even confusing. The believer's efforts to understand, apply, and fully trust the word of God in all aspects of our lives will be instrumental in building our faith. Such faith will uplift us and enable us to rise above the relentless tide of unbiblical ideologies in our culture. The biblical worldview is very important in developing a life that can be emulated by others in diligence, integrity, and honesty in modern society (Tackett, 2014).
