Sports education Brazilian sports teams are very successful because they are among the best coaches in the world. But federations/institutions do not hire just anyone to coach, they want the best and require certain levels of education, licenses and training; who adhere to the guidelines established by the Ministry of Education. Becoming a coach of a sports team in Brazil comes with many requirements, but most importantly, any coach in Brazil must obtain a coaching license from their respective institution or sports federation. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a coach completes several training courses and receives licenses depending on the level of sport in which he wishes to coach. A master's degree is recommended as well as experience of more than 3 years in training. After researching several sports federations I noticed that every sports federation at all levels requires specific objectives and similar training/courses.
