Most parents in the society may believe that the early childhood education program can improve the academic performance of learners, especially in reading and writing, while others may oppose it, believing that Early childhood education program can discourage children's mental development in different areas like cognitive development. , emotional and behavioral controls (Barnett, 2008). Despite improving language skills, mental development may be more important than academic achievement since psychological growth can affect learners' entire lives. A learner may be harmed by disadvantages such as a weakening of cognitive development like creativity and imagination during the early education plan. This essay aims to study the disadvantages of preschool education program by analyzing preschool education and then mentioning the advantages and disadvantages such as literary abilities and mental maturity, respectively. This essay will end with a brief conclusion that preschool education can have negative consequences on young learners.
