This is one of the most important steps, the first impression is very important.  Thirdly, I would dress according to the occasion, in which case I would put aside professional clothes. Again, first impressions at career fairs are crucial.  Fourth, I will need to prepare my elevator speech, because at career fairs, we won't have much time.  Fifth, I will print copies of my resume, several of them in order to prepare.  Last but not least, I will have a list of questions ready. Due to lack of time at career fairs, it would be better if I prepare what I want to ask them.
