    Polls express a reasonably accurate record of how people think on a given issue. Polls are instantaneous results of opinion on a given day. The more recent the survey, the better. A fair and accurate poll must be random, diverse, as broad as possible, impartial and independent of the affiliation of the candidates. A good survey also gives the margin of error. A good survey has a margin of error of 3 to 5%. Never treat candidate polls as legitimate. The survey stapled to the back of the essay makes a good pool. This is an established independent poll called Public Policy Poling. The survey was conducted on October 6, 2015, which is recent. The survey does not ask loaded questions and takes into account religion, ethnicity and culture to give separate results for different groups, then add the results together to get a comprehensive survey.
