    The article I have chosen to summarize concerns a medical condition known as Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Barbara A. Clay wrote about “Relieving ADHD Without Medication,” probably because there are a growing number of children and adults affected by this condition. As the article rightly observes, in the United States alone, an estimated 7% of children ages 3 to 17 have ADHD. Therefore, these alarming figures have raised the concerns of many parents, psychologists and other health care providers, who are continually looking for ways to treat or alleviate the effects associated with ADHD through non-pharmacological approaches.
