    “It's kind of fun to do the impossible” - Disney Princess Castle. In the world of Disney, there are specific characters that most little girls want to follow in their footsteps: princesses. Moms have been throwing princess parties and buying princess clothes for years, just to make their little girls happy. Little girls look up to princesses because they are supposed to be great role models, but are they? Did they teach children the right things about how women should act? In most fairy tales, the prince always saves the princess. Why has there never been a story about the princess fighting her own battles in all the Disney Princess movies? Or are there any? Comparing Disney princesses, the way society views women has changed dramatically over time. What does it mean to be a classic princess? The princesses Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and Belle all have a few things in common. People called these princesses “sugar cookie style” princesses. “They look a lot like sugar cookies: glittery, white, and too sweet for their own good. (#5) Normal “sugar cookie eyes” are unrealistic. size of golf balls. No matter the room or lighting the princesses are in, the size of their pupils never changes unlike normal humans. The reason Disney has huge eyes is because the princesses look more like children in the movies instead of having more natural eyes. The size of the classic princess's head is larger than the rest of her petite, slim body. Classics' bodies are slim with medium breasts and a defined waist. No muscles or hips appear on these little princesses unlike a real woman. If you compare Snow White to the new Frozen movie, you'll see that the characters have gone from helpless to becoming fighters.
