Advertising determines the choice of eating a healthy apple or a fattening cheese burger. This advertisement focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of a healthy or unhealthy diet by describing the food choice based on their weight. In doing so, advertising is able to show how food choices transform human weight into healthy or obese. The man on the left appears to be in very good health. In his hand is a delicious apple which is a good source of vitamin C. The man on the right is the complete opposite and appears to be in very poor health. He is holding a cheeseburger which, at first glance, looks very disgusting. The food we eat helps carry out different functions in our body. A fruit gives our body the vitamins and minerals necessary for our health. A cheeseburger contains a lot of trans fats, carbohydrates and sodium which can cause health problems. The man on the left is very young. Its body has a crisp tan complexion and is hairless. The man on the right is much older due to his light skin and has hair on his stomach. The blue color of the background distorts two scenes from Although the commercial shows the cheeseburger from the Burger King restaurant, the apple can be seen from a food market. For example, the cheeseburger can represent the Burger King logo. It can be argued that the cheeseburger can come from McDonald's, Wendy's or Burger King because of how delicious their burger is. However, from an ethical point of view, we can say that any hamburger can come from any restaurant. On the other hand, the apple represents a food market, Walmart, over Publix, Kroger or Aldi. All over the world, apples taste the same, but they are just distributed to different stores for sale. A cheeseburger has the same ingredients, but a different taste.
