THE STUDY: Employee satisfaction is the measure of judging a person's feelings towards his or her job and determines the conduct, productivity and efficiency of employees at the workplace. A high level of employee satisfaction can, to some extent, help mediate the natural conflicts that arise from different personalities and work styles within an organization. Employee satisfaction and job performance are directly related to each other. Dissatisfied employees are more likely to engage in deviant work behaviors, such as absenteeism and quitting without notice, while a satisfied employee will be more invested in their job and more likely to work for the company in the long term.
