The Vytex team wanted to create a new product designed as a new standardized source of materials for natural rubber products using a chemical agent to reduce the allergenic properties of natural rubber. The product that was created was Vytex, this product is natural rubber but treated with aluminum hydroxide. Aluminum hydroxide is a strong base that contains a protein binding agent.
