Over the years, many societies have collapsed. Have you ever wondered why? There have been countless societies, but certain things have appeared in all of them. Societies collapse all the time, and usually for the same reasons. If modern companies want to avoid failure, they must take many things into consideration. The main reason why societies fail and collapse is population fluctuation, political corruption and unemployment. One of the main reasons societies collapse is population fluctuation. For example, in ancient Rome there were so many people and little work that they all had to live together in small apartments or live on the streets, meaning population fluctuations could lead to crime rates . (The Fall of Ancient Rome 1). The civil war in Liberia was also originally caused by conflict between different groups which led to a much more serious and damaging situation (Brief History of Liberia's Civil War 1). Argentina had such a large population that the economy suffered greatly and many places closed, increasing unemployment (Argentina food riots end, but not hunger 1). All of these countries fell due to demographic problems, and other societies can do this as well, which is why demographic fluctuations pose a significant threat to societies today. Political corruption has caused the collapse of many societies and will cause many more in the future. After Hitler became the leader of Germany, the government was corrupt and not everyone was considered equal, and Jews were treated harshly and unfairly (Nazi Party 1). Another example of a society collapsing due to political corruption is that the Roman emperors, at one point, were chosen by the highest level...... middle of paper ..... .
