  • Essay / Persuasive Why Marijuana Should Be Legal in Canada

This persuasive essay question is “Why should marijuana be legalized?” ". Marijuana is a drug that is continually talked about all over the world. There is constant debate about whether this should be legitimized or not. Additionally, there is some debate about if this was sanctioned in some way, how could they make it work. Each of these requests is something the administration considers every day. There is a significant gap between people's beliefs on this issue. Some people think it should be, some people think it shouldn't be, and some people think it should be with some changes in usage. When looking at the benefits, there is no doubt that marijuana should be legal across the country. There are increasingly positive things that could make this legal. I have a few reasons why marijuana should be legalized. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on “Why Violent Video Games Should Not Be Banned”? Get an Original Essay The main reason weed should be legal is because so many different medications are legitimate. Cannabis is one of the few illicit drugs that is minimally destructive. Many hard drugs, for example painkillers, cocaine and heroin, are dangerous drugs to your well-being and potentially even your life. The herb should not be placed in a similar classification as these drugs. It should belong to the classification that includes alcoholic beverages, tobacco and even sugar. These drugs are more often associated with weed than hard drugs. Additionally, it is undeniable that alcohol and tobacco are increasingly harmful to people who use cannabis. This is why I do not see how the agreement on pot would not be as favorable, or even more favourable, than the approaches on alcohol and tobacco. Indeed, even sugar, from a health perspective, can be considered more destructive than cannabis. Pot is a much safer medicine and more difficult to dose than alcohol. This is the reason why many do not understand why marijuana was not legal and alcohol was. Cannabis should have reasonable and legal approaches, just like the various “drugs” that are considered to belong to a similar classification to its own. The approach needs to be changed. Here's another good reason why marijuana should be legal: to keep children off the streets and away from increasingly harmful medications. Marijuana as a whole could be sold by sellers who also sell hard drugs. Along the same lines, with cannabis now legal and sold in stores the right way, it could help kids avoid the different medications that sellers bring to the table. Likewise, it would prevent children from entering the medication management business. They would have fewer intentions to offer to their companions and other individuals. If the approach was changed and the product could be sold in stores, it would prevent children from selling all together. Being a salesman would be much less powerful and could stop many street pharmacists and clear the roads. This one will be sold anyway, so it should be sold legally. If the strategy is changed and sold legally, it would protect children from harm and make it more difficult to be a street pharmacist. Another very good reason to legalize marijuana is how much money it could save.
