Throughout history, animal testing has played an important role in leading to new discoveries and benefits for humans. However, what many people forget is the large number of animals that have suffered serious harm during the animal testing process. Animal testing involves using animals in biological, medical, and psychological studies. The development and strengthening of medical research is based on animal experimentation. There are many questions about whether animal research is good or not, or whether the benefit to us is much greater in terms of animal abuse. Testing on animals can help find ways to cure diseases, but testing on them is wrong. Although we want to find cures for diseases to help many people, testing on animals not only brutally harms them, but it also strips them of the rights they have. On January 1, 1959, WMS Russell and RL Burch described that there should not be much disease. animal experimentation. Russell and Burch publish "The Principles of Humane Experimental Technique," which introduces the principles of refinement, reduction, and replacement, called the three R's. Reduction explained that people should use fewer animals in experiments. The replacement explained the use of non-animal alternatives to animals wherever possible. Refinement explained how people should use techniques to mitigate or minimize invasive procedures that may cause pain, suffering or distress, and to improve the welfare of animals still in use. Animal testing has been around for a long time and even some people have tried to help animals experience less extreme conditions when they were being tested.
