Windows to the Soul: The Eyes “The eyes are the window to your soul.” William Shakespeare. The human eyes are perhaps the most crucial organs among the body's five senses. The eyes perform many functions for humans, but most importantly, they are the link between an individual and their environment. A person's self-awareness in relation to their immediate surroundings is supported by the use of the eyes, showing how essential they are to us. Magnificent scenes like the graceful lines of snow-capped mountains, lush meadows, winding rivers, vast endless oceans and all other fabulous iconic man-made structures, can only be aesthetically absorbed and artistically appreciated through our eyes . In addition, entertainment content in the media is relayed by cinema and television, Internet games and books. The eyes are the ideal way to detect people's honesty as well as other various emotions of interest depending on the situation. This simply means that human eyes are therefore the windows to a person's inner truth. A quick glance at a person and one may be able to instantly tell a few things about that person's feelings, moods, or even personality. The eyes are considered a window to the soul because they can give clues about what another person is thinking. We all know that when people just smile with their mouths, that smile is probably fake. When the smile includes the eyes, it is probably genuine. Eyes are always considered as the window to the soul because they not only help people to peek inside our soul but also allow our inner soul to peek out the outside world like a real window.
