IntroductionThis project is specifically initiated to develop a BETTER Taxi Cab System for each individual branch of BETTER Taxi Cab. Developing a fast and intelligent daily work schedule for the agency's drivers is the major objective of the project. Additionally, the project also covers the details of the organization's drivers and vehicles. The main head office of the BETTER Taxi Cab organization is in Toowoomba, Queensland and the owner of the organization, Ms Alice Carter, can immediately view all data from 30 branches across Australia via the Internet. This document focuses especially on the overall processes of the system. including the required data and information. Data types are also considered when preparing this document, as well as specific requirements. The document reveals the main major events with their types, triggers, sources, main actors, activities, system outcomes and destinations. The document also reveals how these events are practically used by different objects as well as their timing and duration. However, the project does not include any commercial information regarding customers. The project is developed assuming only two types of taxi, either a standard sedan or modified in various ways. However, the modified taxi still needs to be checked for safety reasons. The project assumes that each shift occurs in the morning of the same day before 8 a.m. The project also needs an external licensing system to check the validity of the driving license. It is also assumed that the project will begin on March 1, 2008. And every 15 days, it aims to review each step. The project is also expected to be completed by the end of the year.
