We treat public figures as characters about whom we should be able to research the context and/or write letters to the editor to criticize or evaluate their behavior. People should be appreciated for their good work, but live their lives in private. Their work should not depend on the behavior of others, nor should the person be held responsible for every mistake they have made. All these things are happening to celebrities today and it should not be allowed. If they want to star in a reality TV show, then they sign a contract for that life. Running Microsoft Corporation doesn't allow the world to see you take out the trash, push your son on a swing in the park, or find out what you did in Cancun on spring break in 1986.
