  • Essay / Horse and Carriage - 1478

It was Christmas Eve, all the decorations were up and everyone was in the Christmas spirit, and outside it was snowing, I was looking out the window when I saw a dark silhouette, it was big, and it looked like it had a box on its back I went out to take a closer look and there it was a white horse with a carriage attached I got a little closer and he started to back away so I stopped not knowing what to do so I slowly walked over to him took the reins and took him back to the cabin, the cabin in winter had the "looking so peaceful with snow all around, Christmas lights hanging from the roof with a wreath on the door and in the back a little sable where I was walking the horse as I left, I saw a little note attached to his saddle, she said "Tippie", I guessed that was her name. The next morning it was Christmas and when I woke up the first thing I did was get some cereal and take it to Tippie but she wasn't there so I started looking for where could she have gone? And how did she get out?? I started walking trying to find her and as I was about to take another step I heard something like breaking glass or ice, I fell through the ground and in a huge tube and everything went dark when I woke up I was in what it was like a huge ice cave there where icicles were hanging from the ceiling and the floor was hard as rock and I I froze not knowing what to do, I started walking around, how was I going to get out of here if I didn't, I would die down here! I kept walking thinking maybe I would find something but I hadn't already been here for at least a few hours, what was I going to do?! I went to the place where I thought I landed after falling and started screaming but everyone was away, no one would have heard...... middle of paper ...... so that she showed me the way and she told me once you got to rue Rouge to take a left and it would be 2 doors down, so I followed her instructions and entered the police office where I told the police officers everything they had told me to lead them to where I was being held. So I did it on the way, I never really realized how long it was, it took us about two to three hours when we finally got to the house, all the police hid around the house and at the count of three, they all ran so fast that no one had time to escape. They had caught everyone! Apparently this house was from the late 1800s and it was rumored that there were gems somewhere in the house and these men were trying to steal them! The police thanked me for telling them. After a LONG LONG horseback ride I was finally home and I was so happy after being away for a month I was finally home and safe.
