Abortion is one of the most controversial issues in America today. Abortion is the murder of innocent human beings. The number of abortions is increasing considerably. Every year, doctors kill babies who could one day become heroes and leaders. Many families are waiting to adopt. It is simply unjust and inhumane to kill an innocent baby who is incapable of defending himself. During abortion, babies in the womb can feel all the pain that an adult would feel going through the same process. Abortion is completely ethically and morally unacceptable because it creates a double standard regarding human life. Additionally, many families want to adopt and our future leaders and heroes could possibly be killed. Abortion has created a double standard. If a woman is involved in a car accident and her baby dies, the driver could potentially be charged with manslaughter. In a partial birth abortion, “scissors are inserted into the back of the child's neck by a doctor” (Folger 86). The doctor is not accused of anything. One of these incidents was actually an intentional killing, and the other was no intentional killing at all. The unintentional person is punished, while the abortionist has the task of murdering the children still in the mother's womb and the abortionist has no charges. Whoever killed the baby in the womb in a car accident faces several charges, such as manslaughter, monetary charges, etc. The abortionist kills several unborn children every day without any consequences. Abortion is wrong in every way, and there is no reason why it should be acceptable. The most inhumane and destructive abortions are partial births or late term abortions. The process of partial birth occurs when abortion occurs... middle of paper...... eggs. It destroys people's lives. It changes people's lives forever. This has created a double standard as to what is and is not considered murder. Abortionists perform several abortions per day. Abortionists not only commit hundreds of murders every day, but they also get paid to commit them. Abortion is undoubtedly murder, the murder of an innocent child who is incapable of defending himself and who has never done anything to hurt anyone. An aborted child is simply a beautiful, precious masterpiece that pays for the mistake of the mother and father. The fetus should not pay for the mistakes of the mother and father. An abortion is not just a procedure that women undergo and move on with their lives, but a procedure that causes all women pain, heartbreak, and depression. Abortion not only kills the baby, but often it kills the mother too.
