    The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. (Gandhi). Unfortunately, it seems there is a lot to expect from America. In recent years, animal abuse has increased, but unfortunately many cases go unreported and unrecognized. The HSUS estimates that each year, nearly 1 million animals are abused or killed in domestic violence. From this growing problem, it appears that humans have power over animals. Most often, the victims who suffer from this are dogs, as shown in the photo. Reported in 2007 by the media, 64.5% of cases involved dogs, 18% cats and 25% other animals. Pit bulls are particularly the most abused dogs. Livestock are also victims, HSUS investigations into slaughterhouses and livestock auctions have found, as well as cases of animal abuse in the factory farming sector. The image above is of an innocent dog. Its legs and mouth were covered in duck tape, which caught the attention of many people because it is not acceptable to stick tape to any animal's body parts. A lot of emotion emerges from this image and can arouse a feeling of hatred towards those who commit these atrocious acts. We can also feel sympathy, especially those who own pets. Inhumanity is also well represented in this photograph. It is sad to believe that a person could do this to an animal. Unfortunately, accusations of animal abuse may not be enough when this happens. There are many states, like Pennsylvania, whose laws are not strict enough when it comes to animal abuse. This conflict will grow in the years to come if the company does nothing. Children without shoes are seen at school to succeed and perhaps have a chance to go further in life. It was the school excitement shown by the children that caught my attention the most. Many are enthusiastic about learning, even if it means they have to struggle to get to school. The development of the arts has led to global awareness. Through stories, poems, paintings, photographs, films and more, it has allowed us to address growing societal issues in different ways. They may not disappear forever, but they can be reduced. The different problems vary between cultures, but many problems such as poverty and lack of education will continue to persist. It's how awareness is raised and how people around the world are informed that we can improve these dilemmas..
