With everything that has happened in the last decade, people must be wondering whether or not they should get married. “A recent Pew Research Center survey showed that 39% of respondents think marriage is becoming obsolete. And when it came to the question of living together versus marriage, 55 percent of those surveyed felt it was a good thing or that it made no difference whether a couple lived together without being married. Older generations are surprised at how different the new generation is. They are the ones fighting against the new generation. They don't want change and aren't prepared for it. It's different from what they grew up with and it shatters what they've always known. Not being married was not always accepted as it is today. People from the older generation were forced to marry, even if they didn't like that person. It was more of a “they will learn to love each other” concept. Whereas today, everyone has the choice of knowing when to marry, who to marry, or even never to marry.
