  • Essay / Importance of Strengths Assessment

It surprises me when I remember the reasons I give for my dislike of school. Looking back, I think it takes a lot of feeling and judgment for a seven-year-old child to be able to express himself in the presence of a large audience. Growing up, I always strived to maintain a sense of right and wrong. Indeed, I am a responsible and friendly person with an ability to impress people. While working with my teammates, I engage in meaningful conversations that help me understand their perspectives. I think it's very important to respect each other's opinions and share a sense of accomplishment. I prefer tasks to be done in advance in an organized manner rather than doing them haphazardly. I am very careful to plan things in advance to avoid any untoward incidents or incidents that could sabotage the team's goals. When leading a team, I try to set up a concrete structure with delegated tasks based on the abilities of the team members and set deadlines accordingly with enough wiggle room. Everyone's opinions are taken into account before drawing concrete conclusions. As Schackleton's video demonstrates in my class, a leader must be very responsible and caring towards their team members. I make sure my team members are comfortable with me but I would prefer to have them under my control in order to achieve better results.
