Essay / Shift Focus - Prioritize What's Important to You
For me, the tips that help the most with organizing projects aren't necessarily those related to the nuts and bolts of the content itself. These are the things that help us in the way we think about our business. The most useful advice, in my opinion, are those ways of seeing things that change mentalities. They free you from things you thought were true. They do not make your hemorrhoids disappear. They change our thought patterns so that we see batteries differently. From there we can decide what to do with it. That said, let's talk a little about concentration. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on “Why Violent Video Games Should Not Be Banned”? Get an Original Essay When you're overwhelmed and surrounded by piles of clutter, the temptation is to focus all your attention on the clutter. In fact, that's why you're frustrated in the first place, you're focused on things. There are so many things within sight that you don't know where to look or what to do. You are distracted. So what do we do when we find ourselves in this situation? Don't focus on the mess. To win the battle against clutter, you need to have strong motivation. Clutter is what happens when life goes on and we are not intentional in our affairs. It can be brutal. It builds quickly and it keeps coming back. So it will take more than a little encouragement to live clutter-free. You will run out of steam if you just try to declutter for the sake of decluttering. There must be something else that motivates you. There must be a “yes” in your life that pushes you to say “no” to those things that distract you. There must be a positive passion that requires your efforts. So don't focus on the mess. Focus on passion. It’s this passion that makes the effort worth it. This is the passion you are striving for. It is the passion that will survive weariness, fatigue and the criticism of those who do not understand. You can replace the word passion with goal, ideal or priority. Whatever you call them, your passions are the things that you believe are worth your investment. These are the things that are most important to you. If we focus on the clutter, we are actually giving importance to things that we have already decided are secondary. We highlight things that we think are “not that important.” Instead, we need to pull ourselves out of the pile high enough to see our goal. This is where we will find the strength to achieve this. When you're tired and overwhelmed by clutter... look away from it (towards your priorities) before looking into its eyes to conquer it. If we're not careful, we can be guilty of worshiping our terms that define us. We allow “simplicity,” “minimalism,” or “clutter-free” to be what it’s all about. In these moments, we lose sight of why we used these terms in the first place. If all we do is declutter so we can say we did it, it will bear limited fruit. The goal is not to be clutter-free. It is the tool that helps us achieve our goal. Mess is not the destination. It’s the vehicle that gets us there. “Living clutter-free” is only as valuable as the causes and relationships you dedicate your life to. If there is no clear target, the sharpened arrow is just a pretty sight. If there's an obvious spot to hit, the time spent sharpening and polishing is worth it. Keep in mind: this..
