    Branding a new business has recently become a necessary goal that every business wants to accomplish for itself. New companies are struggling to keep up, given the number of successful branding achievements: Apple, Coca Cola, Nike and Starbucks – just some of the examples of highly successful companies that have swept the market. Who doesn't think of Apple, Coca Cola or Starbucks, without also visualizing their brand? Apple has overtaken Microsoft, the latter having dominated the market for years. This is partly due to Apple's very successful branding strategy. The Coca Cola company has also overtaken Pepsi. Which brand is the most recognizable? In fact, Coca Cola's highly recognizable brand image allowed it to conquer the American soft drink market, but it also expanded its presence in the international market, putting many local companies around the world on the track. Brand identity is integral to the growth and success of a business. It provides a line of communication with customers, differentiates businesses from others in the market, shapes business style, and increases business performance (Ellwood, 2002). During my own experience as a graphic designer, I gained a heightened awareness of the importance of brand identity after emigrating to the United States and beginning my master's studies in graphic design. Graphic design as a curriculum does not exist in Saudi Arabia; hence, I realized that designing a brand identity for a company or business is not an easy task.
