The Bible and the KoranA comparative analysisChristianity and Islam have several similar aspects. Both religions praise the same God, even if each has a different first name. Muslims call their god Allah, and Christians simply call their god God. Both religions are monotheistic and both even have a set of religious laws that all righteous people follow. Muslims follow the five pillars of Islam, while Christians follow the Ten Commandments. The two religions even have their own religious texts: the Bible and the Koran. Christian missionaries declare that the Bible consists of true stories based on real revelations and establish that the Prophet Muhammad is an impostor. However, it is quite possible that the Bible is nothing more than a book of stories plagiarized from various ancient texts. The Quran appears to correct the errors of the Bible and make its falsehoods true, giving the true version of what really happened in the stories of Joseph, Noah and Jesus. In the Bible, the story of Joseph is a tale of seventeen years. an old young man who was the eldest of his father's sons. He was also his father's favorite son. Joseph often had dreams that showed him as a savior to his people. For this reason, he was sold into slavery by his own envious brothers. Joseph continued to build a better life for himself in Egypt, but it wasn't long before he was thrown into prison after being falsely accused. While in prison, Joseph became an interpreter of dreams and eventually earned a position as an advisor to the Pharaoh. The story of Joseph in the Bible is almost the same in the Quran until now. In the Bible, after becoming an interpreter of dreams, Joseph became the leader of the...... middle of paper ......ics, their religious texts contain almost completely opposing accounts. Biblical scholars accuse the Hebrews of borrowing and even plagiarizing stories from neighboring religions and cultures. So, what stories can be considered true in the Bible and the Quran?
