    No matter, I learned them from friends, family, enemies, and teachers. I always wanted to have fun but I couldn't do it because I needed to learn and educate myself. Despite my difficult situation, I found a path that worked for me. I had to turn my work into something fun. I was and still am a competitive kid, so I would have contests or races with friends or classmates to see who finished their work correctly and the fastest. These competitions raged from Kindergarten where we raced to see who could color the lines the fastest to 5th grade to see who could complete their multiplication and division tables the fastest and nail everything! Alas, while all of this was fun, graduation was coming and everyone except me was going to attend James Martin Middle School. I didn't know that my kind-hearted and loving mother, who cares so much about me and my future, had enrolled me in a wiser and smarter school. The school was the John Motley Morehead STEM Academy, the predecessor school to my current school, the Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology.
