Why was placing Jim in Frieda's class a good idea? It was implied that Ms. Frieda's first interaction and time out for Jim was so successful that it is no wonder the idea of placing Jim in Ms. Frieda's class was a good idea. Frieda's class was born. Although it doesn't specifically fit the theme of her current class, we assume she's mastered it so well that it wouldn't be a problem to involve Jim in it. That his structured and well-oiled “class machine” will please Jim.
