Essay / Character Analysis: Good Luck Charlie - 1013
Teddy enters a relationship that she doesn't know how to get out of and at the end of the episode gives Charlie advice on how to choose a good guy. (Good luck Charlie) On a personal level, I was in the same situation as Teddy. The advice she gives Charlie concerns many relationships. Main character Teddy turns each episode into a life advice video for his younger sister Charlie. (Good luck Charlie) Like Teddy, I am very close to my sister and since she was born, I have taken care of her. Before heading off to college, I made my sister a box full of envelopes filled with photos and advice for any situation you might find yourself in in high school. Teddy uses the video diary to recap his daily life almost like a diary but with advice. (Good luck Charlie) When I was little, my mother encouraged me to write in a journal at the end of my day. Since then, every evening, I summarize my day in a journal. Additionally, I take photos and document my life, just like Teddy from Good Luck Charlie. In short, I have a lot in common with the characters in the Good Luck Charlie series. Since I have a large family, daily life can get a little hectic, like the Duncans. Being the oldest in my family, I primarily identify with Teddy and PJ because of the level of responsibility they shoulder. I have documented my life through photos, videos and a journal, just like Teddy has all my life. Ever since I was little I've loved Good Luck Charlie, I didn't realize I loved it so much because it related to my life in so many areas.
