Essay / The Importance of Internet Security on the Internet
SECURE INTERNET ACCESS TO GATEWAY USING SECURE SOCKET LAYERInternet has become the primary medium for managing distinct sites. The main problem with using the Internet for such sites is security. Many protocols have been invented to solve this problem. This protocol increases security. This article provides the solution to the problem during communication between the client and the server. It did this by using smart card and transport layer security/SSL protocols. Its main objective is to overcome personal problems between two clients regarding communication. The first thing to consider is the SSL protocol which allows you to verify the integrity of the TCP/IP connection. It provides the secret way to send data. The second is a smart card in which a mini 8-bit processor and a temporary hard drive are present. Private data and public keys are allocated so that the user can connect to a specific port and transfer the data through it. Special system named IGUANA in which data from different nodes is collected and processed to TLS server. It provides these data nodes over the Internet. The TLS server consists of a TCP/IP socket that is connected to both the client and the server. The TCP/IP socket is responsible for connecting the user to the smart card. CONNECTION CONTROL: As the name suggests, it is responsible for detecting connection and connection configuration errors. To execute this process, three main blocks are present, namely handshake and authentication, communication and error checking. DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION: The implementation of this protocol involves six units • Handshake and Authentication Unit: It is used for security purposes. This happens in two ways o Handshake with pin o Handshake with digital signatures• Connection check and ...... middle of paper ...... the ockpot() connect() function is used to save BWSS data The structure read() function is used to measure the actual bit rate and achieve the target bit rate. setsockopt() is used to allocate bandwidth based on priority. Using these library functions, experiments are conducted to study ideal care, link bandwidth reduction, and bandwidth redistribution after congestion. Finally, a streaming experiment is conducted to show the difference between video streaming of TCP using BWSS and UDP. In this experiment, it is proven that the video using BWSS has high clarity and throughout the video streamed using UDP. CONCLUSION: Based on the Different experiments conducted have shown that BWSS provides more efficient media streaming than TCP. Further studies are underway to find more techniques to use BWSS and provide bandwidth regardless of network protocol..
