    ChoreographyA choreographer plays an important role in many careers throughout history. Their goals are to perfect and create a routine best suited to the dancer's abilities. The choreographer's job is to tell a story and project images and emotions using a series of rhythmic movements. “Chreography is also used to organize ice skating, cheerleading, synchronized swimming and various other performing arts” (Mcmahon1). Choreographers work with several or all different dance styles, such as classical dance, ballroom dance and contemporary ballet. Choreographers teach their students how to move toward music in a more artistic way; so it is best for a choreographer to have a background in dance or another type of visual art. One of the best ways to learn to choreograph and teach others is through education and experience. Dance has been around for centuries. It all started with ritual and symbolic dances in early tribal societies. Early tribes used these dancers to tell stories, ancient tales and to worship or communicate with their gods. An example of these types of dances is called rain dance to worship a certain person. “Dance designed to excite the emotions, like war dance; the dance believed to communicate with the gods, like the rain dance. (Fégurson1). Many would gather to worship and dance before their rain god, believing that this would bring water and prosperity to their land. These types of dance later evolved into dance during the Renaissance era in the 17th century and in modern times. Ballet, another form of dance, was created in Italy and France in the 15th century.
