World champion bull riders must train, eat well, exercise, meditate and love the sport. In 1992, a group of 20 visionary bull riders. broke away from the rodeo in search of better bulls and better money to form the only bull riders association gathered in a hotel room in Arizona and invested 1,000 each to form what is now known. under the name PBR PBR became popular in Canada, Mexico, Australia and Brazil for money and top bulls. the world champion wins a bonus of one million dollars. On average, an event winner takes home around $35,000. However, no one can compete on the PBR circuit and win these large sums of money. You have to earn your spot in the Touring Pro division, also known as the Velocity circuit (Professional Bull Riders, Inc).
