The economic aspect is one of the most important parts of our lives, even if it is not the whole thing. The Islamic system is balanced and places everything in its rightful place. Islam has given detailed rules for the conduct of our economic life, which mainly concerns the acquisition and use of wealth. Man needs bread to live but he does not live only for bread. This means that earning and spending money is essential to living, but we don't live for that alone. We have a greater purpose in life. We are the agents of Allah (Khalifah) on earth. We not only have a body but also a soul and a conscience. Without our soul and our conscience, we would be considered little more than animals. Everything in Islam is for the benefit and well-being of humanity. The economic principle of Islam aims to establish a just society in which everyone behaves responsibly and honestly, and not like "cunning foxes" fighting for as large a share as possible without regard to honesty, truth, decency, trust and responsibility.
