This is not some kind of savior for students who want to get into expensive higher schools. It's kind of a disappointment for them, because even after all the money they are given based on the income they are "labeled", they still can't afford it. It is unfair to ask students to reconsider their career choices based on whether or not they can finance their college education. Income should not be a determining factor in whether or not a student should go to school. Higher education is more valuable than people prioritizing it. It is unfair for children to put themselves down because they are not financially strong. There are kids who are academically acceptable in college but are not financially acceptable. So there are colleges that emphasize financial aid, but what good is a little help for a lot of tuition? When will financial aid be more of a benefit to low-income students rather than just money ?
