    Pediatrics - (adjective) the branch of medicine that deals with children and their illnesses - is a fascinating career. Since I was in seventh grade, I knew I wanted to work with little children and work in the medical field. Makenzie Vital inspired me to go into pediatrics. She talked to me about what she wanted to do in the field of pediatrics (pediatric neurology) and definitely inspired me to go into pediatrics, but in a different part of the field. Becoming a pediatrician has many characteristics, responsibilities, challenges, education, interests, skills and planning. The characteristics of this work are what really attracted me, and that was the children. With different types of ages, genders, and races, it exposes you to different types of situations. This part of pediatrics also allows you to see the child grow as they get older, you can see them from birth until they are eighteen or twenty-one years old. It shows you how children can grow as they get older. You learn how things work and why they work the way they do. You learn things you've never learned before. You solve problems every day, which makes your job even more interesting. You never know what to expect, which is always fun, because you don't know what to expect, some emergencies make it even more fun. That's why I can't wait to start this work when I'm older, it will make me think and I can work with children! The responsibilities are enormous in this career. You must keep patient information organized, confidential, and ensure appointments are scheduled correctly. When you enter information, there are specific places intended for specific information, and if you get it wrong, you can almost mess it up. This is a huge resp...... middle of paper ...... the field is so interesting; it offers such a variety of pediatrics that you can do it, so you almost always learn information. I love children and they are always growing, and you see how they grow every time you see them. The skill set you need is exactly what I think I can do. Schooling can be difficult, but I'm willing to do it because it's what I want to do. Becoming a pediatric doctor comes with many characteristics, responsibilities, challenges, education, interests, skills, and planning. I know I will have to get to know people who already work in this field, so I know how it works and, in an emergency, how to react. I hope that as I delve deeper into this field of study, I will discover more details about pediatrics and how it works. I will have my ups and downs and I can't wait to start this job.
