The Savior's TraitorsLet's think about this situation, suppose a person lives in a country that has just gone to war, but they discover that the war started because his country is trying to kill a race of people. What would they do, would they just stand there and do nothing? Would he try to fight your government politically or physically? Or overthrow the government from within by influencing the people to understand what was really happening? The latter, my friend, is what happened in Germany in 1942 during WWII with a small gang, not a big or strong one. However, some people really knew what was happening during the war and in the camps. This group of people decided to call themselves The White Rose Gang, and they will be known throughout history as one of the bravest groups of Germans to oppose the Nazis. The White Rose, one of the first groups to oppose the Nazis because they knew the truth. This was a group made up mainly of students and young adults who had come out of the war. They were mostly led by their university professor to make a difference in Germany. They wanted to talk to people about the camps and what some of the young adults had seen during the war and what they had done to the Jews. So when this group formed, they were making their cause known to people by handing out leaflets explaining the truth about the Nazis, but they were doing all of this in secret because if they were arrested they would be severely punished. So this gang should do everything in secret, but still convey the message to everyone in Germany so that they can defeat the Nazis and Hitler.
